Scott was born on May 3, 1985 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Jose & Linda Torres. He is survived by his parents of Ligonier, IN; a sister, Linda Torres, and a brother, Daniel Torres, both of Ligonier; 2 Nephews, Juan & James Gerrero also survive. His two paternal grandparents survive, Marcial Torres and Maria Torres, also of Ligonier, as well as his maternal grandparents, Ruby Meeks, of Graham, TX and Richard Miles of Cleburn, TX and 9 uncles and 5 aunts. Scott loved classical music and enjoyed watching boxing. A funeral service honoring Scott will be Tuesday at 11 AM at Yeager Funeral Home 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
