Verna J. Eash

Verna J. Eash, 87, of Ligonier passed away on June 28, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Eash was born on March 4, 1925 in Holmes County, Ohio to John D. J. and Sara (Miller) Miller. She married John J. Eash on December 23, 1947. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1985.

Surviving are seven sons; William (Amelia), Jacob (Fannie) and Mervin (Carolyn) Eash, all of Topeka, IN, Floyd (Esther Anna) and Leroy (Mary Edna) Eash, both of Ligonier, Levi (Orpha) Eash of Wawaka and Henry (Eileen) Eash of Millersburg. Also surviving are three daughters; Abbie (Jerome Jr.) Hochstetler of Topeka, Sarah Ann Eash of Ligonier and Lovella (Alvin) Yoder of Lancaster, MO. She is also survived by 52 Grandchildren and 125 Great-Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Floyd Eash residence, 11123 N. 500 West, Ligonier, IN 46767 after 2:30 P.M. Thursday, June 28, 2012 and all day Friday, June 29, 2012. The funeral service will be at the residence at 9:30 A.M. Saturday, June 30, 2012 with Bishop David M. Miller of And Home Ministry officiating. Burial will be at Miller cemetery.
