Mary Lou Douglas

Mary Lou Douglas, age 59, of Ligonier, IN passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 9:30 PM. She was born on November 2, 1952 to Robert & Mary (Willmarth) McCune in South Bend, IN. On October 21, 1990 she married Terry E. Douglas, he survives.

She is also survived by two sisters, Cheryl (Ralph) Watson of Fort Wayne, IN and Barbara (Fred) Smith of Elkhart, IN; two brothers, David (Sheryl) McCune of Sturgis, MI and Donald McCune of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John McCune.

She attended the Millersburg Church of Christ and had worked for Lake Park Industries of Indiana until 2010. She had also worked part time for several years at Burger King in Ligonier until 2011.

A funeral service will be held in Mary’s honor with Pastor David Main on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767. Burial will follow at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell, IN. Following internment friends and family are invited to attend a funeral luncheon at the Millersburg Church of Christ.

A visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier, IN. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Yeager Funeral Home.
