Janet Pearl Violet Mallette

Janet Pearl Violet Mallette, 76, of Topeka passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 5:15 AM at Life Care Center of Lagrange. She was born on April 4, 1936 in Ipshwich, England to Leslie Cyril and Violet Rose (Addison) Wolnough. On July 5, 1954 she married James Mallette. Janet was a dedicated homemaker for many years; she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Crosswalk at the Ligonier United Methodist Chruch. She is survived by her husband, James of Topeka; one daughter, Kerin (Mike) Pena of Ligonier; and three grandchildren; Mikel, Carina and Kayla Pena. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Gary Mallette. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 2 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767 with Pastor Byron Kaiser officiating. Burial will follow at Eden Cemetery in Topeka. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
