John W. Beechy

John W. Beechy, 82, died April 12, 2012 at 1:00 PM at his residence, 4880 W 600 S; Topeka, IN. He was born November 17, 1929 to John and Anna (Fry) Beechy. On November 23, 1950 he married Fannie Nissley. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Dave (Lorene); six daughters, Mary, Sue (Dan) Yoder, Ann (LeRoy) Miller, Saraetta (Dave) Kauffman, Pauline all of Topeka and Rose (Paul) Yoder of Ligonier; 32 grandchildren; 38 great- grandchildren; four brothers, Daniel (Katie) of Kenton, OH, Alvin (Ida) of Shipshewana, Ora (Anna) of Topeka and Aaron (Edna Mae) of Wisconsin; two sisters, Lydia (Ammon) Miller and Anna Mae (Harvey) Schrock of Ohio; and one sister in law, Joe Erma Beechy of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 great- granddaughter; 1 brother; and 5 sisters.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 after 1:00 PM and all day Sunday at the Beechy residence. Funeral services will be held at the residence on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 9:30 AM with Bishop Samuel Hershberger and the Home Ministers officiating. Burial will take place at Miller Cemetery in Topeka. Pallbearers will be Marlin Yoder, John Dale Kauffman, Karl Miller, Daryl Beechy, Mathew Kauffman, and Jason Miller.
