Ada Miller

Ada (Mast) Miller, age 82, of Ligonier died on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 4:00 AM at her home after a brief illness. She was born on July 23, 1929 in LaGrange County to Levi D. and Amelia (Lehman) Mast. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Ada married Elmer C. Miller on February 1, 1951. They lived in matrimony for 61 years 2 months.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Samuel (Orpha) Miller of Mio, MI, Lester (Edna) Miller of Shipshewana; three daughters, Barbara (Ura) Miller of Hillsboro, WI, Beulah (Melvin) Miller and Irene (Jerry) Miller both of Ligonier; 37 grandchildren; 92 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Freda; her parents; 7 brothers; 1 sister; 1 stillborn grandson; and 3 stillborn great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 after 2:00 PM and all day Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the home residence at 7615 S 900 W, Ligonier, IN 46767. Funeral services will be held at the residence on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 9:30 AM with Bishop Willard Yoder and the Home Ministers officiating. Pallbearers are Lloyd Chupp, Larry Yoder, Willie Schwartz, and Ben Jr. Gingerich. Burial will take place at Hawpatch Cemetery in Topeka, IN.
