Frank "Cal" Calvin Fisher

Frank “Cal” Calvin Fisher, age 87, of Ligonier, IN passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 9:53 PM at his home. He was born on October 4, 1924 to Otis and Nell (McCloughen) Fisher. On August 5, 1960 he married Betty West.

He served his country honorably in the Air Force during WWII from 1942-46. He later retired from United Technology in Ligonier in 1986. He then drove school bus from 1986-1999. Cal was also a member of Ligonier Church of Christ & the America Legion Post 243 in Ligonier.

He is survived by a son, Terry Fisher of Kendallville, IN; a stepson, Tony Golden of Atlanta, Georgia; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; his parents; two brothers, Stanley & Maurice; and three sisters, Fay Calendar, Helen Biller, and Jean Vanette.

In fulfilling Frank’s wishes, no public viewing or services will be held. Cremation will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
