Pearl Peterson

Pearl Peterson, age 84, of Cromwell, IN passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on May 3, 1927 to Herman and Mary E. (Martin) Neumann in Fort Wayne, IN. On June 30, 1946 she married Gilbert Hoffman, he preceded her in death. She later married Paul Peterson, he also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Peterson moved to the area in 1962 coming from Fort Wayne. She retired from Union Products and attended the Ligonier Evangelical Church. She enjoyed golf, antiques and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Suzanne (Patrick) Teders of Avilla, Sandra Hossler of Albion, Darlene (Eldon) Ralston of LaGrange, Pete (Lisa) Hoffman of Fort Wayne, Carla Myers of Pembroke Pines, FL; step-son, Gerald Peterson of Salt Lake City, UT; her grandchildren, Mike (Kathy) Teders of Mooresville, Kristy (George) Piche` of Camby, Jeff (Amy) Hossler of Columbia City, Deb (Chuck) Swihart of Syracuse, Tammy (Rodney) Reed of Sturgis, MI, Tony (Laura) Brandenburg of Fort Wayne, Andrew Hoffman of Chicago, IL, Justin Hoffman of Fort Wayne, Krystle (Mike) Rasumoff of Fort Lauderdale, FL; her grandchildren, Alex and Grace Teders, Katelyn and Gabrielle Piche`, Fawnda Reed, Faith and Aric Swihart, Lily Mae Brandenburg, Gavin Rasumoff; step-grandchildren, Chaz and Jonathon Swihart, Mandy Miller, Whitney, Charlie and Alayna Sitts; one brother, Mearl (Jeanne) Neumann; and two sisters, Betty Moldthan and Donna Belle Wright. She was preceded in death by six siblings, Mary Ann, Katherine, Donna Jean, Virginia, Imogene and Eugene.

There will be a funeral service held in Mrs. Peterson’s honor on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767, with Pastor Troy Diersing officiating. Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell, IN.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Yeager Funeral Home from 11-2 PM prior to the funeral service.
