Carol M. Kellar

Carol M Kellar, age 55, of Kimmell, IN, formerly of Marietta, OH passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 6:00 AM at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. On March 28, 1956 she was born to Charles W. & Ruth Marie (Blair) Kellar in Marietta, OH. Carol graduated from West Noble High School in 1974. She had a special love for children and had worked at West Noble Day Care Center in Ligonier for 13 years. She also loved to travel with her aunt Lois and her uncle, the late Earnest Beardsley. She is survived by 5 siblings, Rose (Eugene) Frances, Kay (Chester) Henthorn, John Kellar, Robin (Sharon) Kellar & Donald (Cathy) Kellar all of Mariettta, OH; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Terry & Jerry Thrasher and Charles Dexter Kellar. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 3-6 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767. A funeral service will then be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 1 PM at McClure-Shafer-Lankford Funeral Home, 314 Fourth St.; Marietta, OH 45750 with Pastor Wayne Bennett officiating. Friends may also call on Friday from 11-1 prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Delzell Cemetery in Delzell, OH.
