David L. Robinson

David Robinson, age 34, of Kendallville, IN passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 11:03 AM at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne as the result of injuries sustained in an accident that took place July 13, 2011.

David was born on December 1, 1976 in Goshen, IN to Donnie & Connie (Wood) Robinson. He was a 1995 graduate of West Noble High School and later graduated from Vincennes University. On December 28, 2002, he married Brooke Haines, she survives.

Survivors include his wife, Brooke Robinson of Kendallville; two sons, Stone Robinson & Joshua Nelson, both at home; his parents, Donnie & Connie Robinson of Ligonier; two brothers, Kevin Robinson of Kimmell, & Michael Robinson of Fort Wayne. A grandfather, Eldion “Dude” Wood of Chelyan, WV, his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Barry & Robin Haines of Rome City, a brother-in-law, Dane Haines of Rome City; and a nephew, Jonah Haines. Other survivors include Dana (Vicki) Robinson of Albion; Kay Wood, Rita (Bud) Devins, Steve (Linda) Wood and Randy (Bonny) Wood of West Virginia; Jerry (Linda) Wood of South Carolina; Ida June Benningfield of Stanton, Kentucky and many, many cousins. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lane Robinson in 2003.

A funeral service will be held in David’s honor on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Stone’s Hill Community Church, 151 W. Stones Hill Rd., Ligonier, IN at 12 Noon with Troy Diersing officiating.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 10AM –12 Noon prior to the funeral service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
