Mary P. Fry

Mary Pauline Fry, age 70, of Ligonier passed away at 3:00 AM in IU Goshen Hospital following a brief battle with cancer. She was born on November 30, 1940 in Noble County, IN to Eli E. & Anna (Frey) Miller. She married Harvey Fry on October 16, 2002. Mary was a member the Old Order Amish Church & was a dedicated homemaker.


She is survived by her husband, Harvey O. Fry of Ligonier, 5 Step-children: Kenneth (Ruby) Fry, Karen (David) Lambright, Lydia (Vernon) Yoder, all of Topeka; Marlin (Mary) Fry of Ligonier, & Mervin (Mary Jane) Fry of Millersburg; 31 Step-Grandchildren & 1Step Great-Granddaughter. 3 brothers: Elva (Martha) Miller, Howard (Esther) Miller, Floyd (Clara) Miller all of Ligonier; 3 sisters; Ida (Daniel) Yoder of Topeka, Joann (Daniel) Bontrager of LaGrange, Loretta (Olen) Hochstedler of Kokomo.

She was preceded in death by: her parents and a sister-in-law Elsie (Weaver) Miller.

A funeral Service will be held in Mary’s honor with Bishop David M. Miller &the home ministers officiating on Monday June 20, 2011 at 9:30 AM at the Leroy Eash residence-11555 N 500 W; Ligonier, IN 46767. Friends may call at the Harvey Fry residence- 11461 N 500 W; Ligonier, IN 46767 after 1 PM Saturday June 18, 2011 and all day Sunday June 19, 2011.

Pallbearers are Steven Fry, Dennis Lambright, DeWayne Miller, Larry Bontrager, Ryan Miller, & Dennis Mast. Burial will take place in Hawpatch Cemetery in Topeka, IN
