Robert C. MacDonald, age 46 of Ligonier & formerly of Wawaka passed away unexpectedly on Thursday June 2, 2011 at his residence.

He was born on March 23, 1965 to Paul Edward MacDonald & Mary Allene Caudill. He was a graduate of West Noble High School. He worked for over 20 years at Coachman Industries in Middlebury. Robert will always be remembered as a jokester and a master craftsman. He was fan of the Indianapolis Colts, the Chicago Bears, & the show “Mobster wives of New York”. Above all he was a man dedicated to the care of his mother and loving his family and friends.

He is survived by his Mother, Mary A. Mullins of Ligonier, his father Paul Edward Macdonald of Jackson, MI, 3 sisters: Alice (Bobby) Cripe of Ligonier, Allene “Renee’” McLaughlin of Topeka, IN, Pamela (Jean-Marc) Laguerre of Goshen; 3 nieces & 2 nephews; 5 great nieces.

A funeral service will be held in Robert’s Honor with Pastor Byron Kaiser officiating on Sunday June 5, 2011 at 5PM at the Crosswalk at Ligonier United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 2-5 PM prior to the service.

Burial will take place at Orange Township Cemetery in Brimfield, IN on Monday June 6, 2011 at 10 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to family in care of Yeager Funeral Home- 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767.
