Albert Lee Wells, age 67, of Goshen, IN passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 7:30 PM in his residence as the result of natural causes.
He was born January 26, 1944 in Pekin, KY to Wilbur & Imogene (Phillips) Wells. On May 16, 1964 he married Carol E. Manning.
He retired from the RV industry in 2006 & currently worked part time for Goshen Floral. He was a member of the Elkhart County Beagles Club. A true outdoorsman, Albert loved to hunt, fish & garden. He was excellent at bowling, playing horseshoes, softball, corn toss or whatever he put his hand to.
Survivors include, his wife Carol Wells of Goshen; daughter, Petrina (Billy) Morton of Goshen; two sisters, Bette Baker of Goshen, Ohio, & Lavodies (Larry) Henry of West Liberty, KY; three half sisters, Mary Joe (Bob) Houston of Ohio, Kathy Wells of Illinois, & Evelyn (Danny) Nichols of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Wells in 1978; his parents; and two half brothers, John & Tom Marcelino.
A funeral service will be held in Albert’s honor on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 7PM with Pastor Michael Curton & Rev. Jack DeVault officiating at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church- Goshen, 63983 County Road 15, Goshen, IN 46526.
A visitation will be held at the church on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 2-4 PM & 6-7 PM prior to the start of the service.
A visitation will also be held at Potter Funeral Home in West Liberty on Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 4-8 PM with an additional funeral service to follow Monday, May 2, 2011 at 11 AM. Burial will take place Ezel Cemetery in Ezel, KY.
