Everett P. Baker

KIMMELL — Everett P. Baker, age 95, of Kimmell passed away Friday April 15, 2011 at Millers Merry Manor in Syracuse. He was born on October 24, 1915 to U.S. & Mary (Stephenson) Baker. In May of 1939 he married Lucille Beezley, she passed away June 27, 2003.

Everett was a well known area farmer and farmed well into his nineties. He was also a member of Broadway Christian Church for over 70 years.

He is survived by two daughters, Diana (Danny) Brown, and Judith (Ronald) Wentworth; four grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.

A funeral service in Mr. Baker's honor will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier with J. D. Woods officiating. Burial will take place at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell. Pall bearers are Dick Adair, Alan Beers, Larry Wilkinson, Chuck Werker, Dana Brown, and Joshua Wentworth. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Yeager Funeral Home.
