May Marlene Mann

May Marlene Mann, age 75, of Cromwell, IN passed away on April 11, 2011 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 11, 1935 in Walkerton, IN to Samuel & Gladys (Stankey) Tener. On June 2, 1955 she married David Donald Mann. He preceded her in death on October 5, 1992.

Mrs. Mann was a lifetime area resident. She retired from Arcadia, now Parker Hannifin, in Ligonier in 2000.

Mrs. Mann was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Chapter #143 in Niles, MI and a member of the American Legion Post in Churubusco, IN.

She is survived by her daughter, Loretta M. (Eric) Grudowski of Cromwell; two step-children, Sandra Walters of Nappanee and Roger Mann of Plymouth; eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two children, Margaret Wright & Leonard Mann; and eight siblings.

There will be a funeral service held in her honor on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 6:00 PM at Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier with Pastor Gene Suffridge officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date in Union Center Cemetery in Nappanee, IN.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011 from 4-6 PM prior to the funeral service at Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier.
