C. Clark Bromley Jr.

July 11, 1930 — April 4, 2011

C. Clark Bromley Jr., age 80, of Ligonier, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 12:00 AM at his residence after an extended illness.

He was born on July 11, 1930 to Charles Clark and Hellen (Heberling) Bromley in Denver, CO. On January 18, 1990 he married Kathy Mickols.

Mr. Bromley served his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1954. He was a stock broker for Smith Barney, retiring in 1990. In 1998, he moved to the area coming from Evergreen, CO. Together, he and his wife enjoyed raising alpacas.

He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and the Ligonier Lions Club. He also served as a 4-H Leader for eight years.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy Bromley of Ligonier; his children, Linda Ruth (Tim) Branigan, Charles Clark (Tamie) Bromley III and Kevin McLain (Leslie) Bromley; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one brother, Howard Dawson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

A funeral service will be held in Mr. Bromley's honor on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 4:00 PM at All Saints Episcopal Church, 7812 E. Vawter Park Rd., Syracuse, IN with Father Larry Biller officiating.

Memorials are to the Ligonier Lions Club and the Noble County 4-H Foundation, Alpaca Club.
