Patricia A. McLallin, 86, of Ligonier, Ind., passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. in Northridge Village, Albion, Ind.
She was born on March 10, 1925, in Kendallville, Ind., to Paul Eugene and Leone Castor (Richards) Warford. She married Gerald W. McLallin on June 20, 1943. He preceded her in death in 2008.

She was a lifelong area resident and had farmed with her husband for over 50 years.
Over the years she was very active and supportive of the community, volunteering for various organizations. She was also a faithful and active member of Sparta Church for over 68 years, during which time she taught Adult Sunday School for 20 plus years.

Survivors include one son, Michael (Dianne) McLallin of Kendallville, Ind.; one son-in-law: Ned Gardner of Buchanan, Mich.; four daughters, Penelope (Art) Johnson of Indianapolis, Ind., Paula Routson of Freeport, Ill., Pia (Dan) Brauser of Irving, Texas, and Peggy (Eric) Genshaw of Syracuse, Ind.; one sister, Dottie Grant of Richmond, Va.; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Prudence Gardner; her parents; and one brother, Richard Warford.

Services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011, at 11 a.m., at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Ind., with the Rev. Curryanne Hostetler officiating. Burial will follow at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell, Ind.
Friends may call on Sunday, March 27, 2011, from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
