Justin Gamblin

Justin Gamblin, age 22, of Lafayette, formerly of Ligonier, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 6:30 AM as the result of a house fire in Lafayette.

Justin was born on September 29, 1988 in Goshen, IN. He was a lifetime area resident and a 2007 graduate of West Noble High School. Justin was a fulltime student at Purdue University and had also attended Ivy Tech. He was an avid basketball fan and loved to play the game.

Surviving are his parents, William and Misty (Fisher) Utterback of Ligonier; his mother, Melissa Gamblin of Ligonier; two brothers, Zachary Gamblin and Ethen Utterback of Ligonier; one sister, Krystal Utterback of Ligonier; his loving grandparents and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff Gamblin; and a brother, Scott Gamblin.

A funeral service will be held in Justin's honor on Sunday, March 6, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier with Celebrant Larry Baker officiating. An additional funeral service will be held at Jackson Funeral Chapel, 200 Third St. SW, DeMotte, IN on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Cemetery of the Resurrection in DeMotte, IN.

A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 3-7 PM prior to the funeral service at Yeager Funeral Home. There will be an additional time of visitation held before the funeral service in DeMotte from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Jackson Funeral Chapel.
