Harry W. Hart

Harry W. Hart, age 70, of Cromwell, IN, formerly of Syracuse, IN, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 22, 2011 as the result of an automobile accident. He was born on October 7, 1940 to Wesley and Wilhelamine (Strong) Hart in Norfolk, NE. On June 7, 1969 he married Michele Miller.

Growing up in Omaha, NE he joined the United States Navy right after high school. After 23 years in the Navy, most of those being in the submarine service, he retired as a MMCM/SS. Harry and his family moved to Syracuse, IN in 1982 and then to Cromwell, IN in 1989.

Surviving are his wife, Michele of Cromwell; a son, Jason Hart of Cromwell; a brother, John (Pat) Hart of Overland Park, KS; a sister, Patricia (Jerry) Jones of Cheyenne, WY; three nieces; and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nora Glenn.

A funeral service will be held in Mr. Hart’s honor on Friday, February 25, at 6PM with Celebrant Larry Baker officiating.

There will be a time of visitation on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 11-2 PM & 5-6 PM prior to the start of the funeral service at the funeral home.
