Devan Christopher White

Devan Christopher White, age 15, of Ligonier, IN and formerly of New Carlisle, IN went to be with the Lord January 7, 2011 at 11:10 PM following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 11, 1995 in Goshen Hospital to Michael White & Robynne Wagner.

Devan had attended New Prairie Schools in New Carlise as well as West Noble in Ligonier. He was a member of Trinity Assembly of God in Ligonier. Devan was a natural athlete & sportsman. He enjoyed playing football, wrestling, soccer, baseball, skateboarding, hunting & fishing. He was also an avid fan of Notre Dame, the Colts, & the Kentucky Wildcats.

Devan is survived by his parents: Robynne Wagner of Niles, MI, Michael & Margarita White of Ligonier; 5 siblings: Cory Wagner of Leesburg, IN, Nicolas Johnson of Niles, MI, Raquel, Connor, & Jacqueline “Jackie” White all of Ligonier, Grandparents: George & Katherine Wright of Mishawaka, IN; David & Margarita Pena of Ligonier; James Wagner Jr. of Niles, MI; & Ken & Alice Johnson of Ligonier. He was preceded in death by a grandfather: Jennings
White Sr. & great-grandparents: Herbert & Isabell LeCount.

A funeral service in Devan’s honor will be held Wednesday January 12, 2011 at 2PM at Trinity Assembly of God- 1288 West Union; Ligonier, IN 46767 with Pastor Cory Kirkhan officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier, IN.
