Rosena Frances Mcguin

Rosena Frances McGuin, age 92, of Ligonier IN, passed away at 12:05 AM Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.

She was born on October 26, 1918 to Joseph B. & Madglene (Blomeke) Miller. On June 2, 1965 she married William R. McGuin, he preceded her in death on April 4, 1978.

Mrs. McGuinn was a lifetime area resident. She retired from Essex Wire after 35 years of service and was an active member of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include three children, John Shoudel of Ligonier, Charlotte (Ralph) Boyd of Ligonier, Charles (Getta) Shoudel of Bonaire, GA; six grandchildren, Michelle, Wendy, Michella (Paul) Scarlett, Chuck Jr. (Jessica) Shoudel, Jason (Kristen) Shoudel & Amy; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Zella Ann (Paul) Collins of Butler, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Thelma, Martha, Isabell and Elvena; and one brother, Ambrose Miller.

A funeral service will be held in her honor on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767, with Father Wilson Corzo officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier.

There will be a time of visitation on Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM with a Rosary service to be held at 7:30 PM at Yeager Funeral Home.
